What are the five best crystals for self-love?
Updated: Aug 22
Valentine’s Day is almost upon us, so how about using some crystals to show yourself some love for a change?
Self-love is something many of us struggle with. We all have things we don’t like about ourselves and it’s difficult to accept these things without judgment. But self-love is vitally important because if we can’t love and accept ourselves, we won’t be able to fully love and accept others.
Learning to love yourself is empowering because it silences that nasty little voice that tells you you’re not good enough and allows you to share your beautiful light with the world.
What are the best crystals to increase self-love?
There’s a reason many of the crystals associated with self-love are pink or green. These colors resonate with the heart chakra, clearing blocks and enabling healing.
Our five favorite crystals for helping you love yourself are:
Rose quartz is often called the stone of unconditional love. It promotes compassion for yourself and others and helps you love yourself––warts and all!
Rhodonite encourages forgiveness allowing you to clear past hurts and traumas and open yourself up to more love.
Carnelian is an empowering stone that boosts self-esteem and self-worth. It increases courage and helps you feel confident to take on new challenges.
Kunzite is a spiritual stone that brings awareness to your heart. It increases your intuition, allowing you to identify and heal emotional pain and trauma.
Rhodochrosite is another wonderful stone for healing emotional trauma. It encourages self-acceptance and deep, spiritual love.
How can I use crystals for self-love?
Crystals are wonderful friends to support you on your journey toward self-love. Their gentle energy can encourage compassion, tolerance, and forgiveness towards yourself. They can help to heal past hurts and fears and open you up to give and healthily receive love.
Here are some of our favorite ways to use crystals to increase self-love:
Ritual self-love bath
Having a bath with your crystals is a beautiful way to receive their healing energy. You can place them around the edges of the bath or in the water (if it’s safe to do so). Add some essential oils or flower petals, light some candles, and breathe intentionally into your heart space, sending yourself a big dose of love. Creating a sacred ritual at bath time turns a mundane activity into a powerful healing experience.
Self-love crystal grid
Crystal grids are excellent to support you on your healing journey. They can be placed somewhere close to you such as next to your bed, on your desk, or in front of a mirror where you’ll see them often. This helps you renew your intention each time you see it as well as soak up the healing vibes.
You can also create a body layout by placing crystals on or around your body and relaxing deeply.
Self-love crystal elixir
A crystal elixir is another wonderful way to benefit from crystals. Taken as drops under the tongue, the healing energy is incorporated directly into your body and begins working on a vibrational level.
Allowing yourself to come to a place of self-love and acceptance is a journey that takes time and work. Using crystals can be a supportive tool to help you get there!
