Helpful Info Before You Enrol
Course Prerequisites - all courses
Our courses are all-inclusive. We welcome students of all nationalities and ages, and in most cases, there are no prerequisites required to complete our practitioner courses. However, it is strongly recommended that students enrolling in our
Certified Crystal Bodyworker Course have prior crystal healing training and/or qualifications.
Recognition for Prior Learning (RPL) - practitioner
Recognition for prior learning (RPL) may be granted for our practitioner courses to some students and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Students applying for RPL must provide evidence of their prior learning by providing us with any certificates and a detailed summary of their prior experience and/or education. The maximum amount of RPL granted for any course is 20%.
Mode of Delivery - all courses
Some students are concerned they won’t get a ‘hands on’ learning experience with online study. Although this is true for some online courses, our online courses are designed to be as interactive and hands-on as possible! You'll love our intuitive online learning system and your personal student dashboard. Each lesson is full of engaging information and activities including: text, video tutorials, guided meditations, quizzes, assessments and practical activities, for you to develop real healing skills.
Lifetime Content Access - all courses
Our courses are delivered online through a state-of-the-art course delivery program. Although your online access time is limited (please see 'Online Enrollment Terms' below), every lesson is downloadable as a PDF document. This means that as long as you download and save the course material, you can keep it forever!
Course Completion Times - practitioner courses
Because we are a professional training organization, our practitioner courses have a maximum completion time. Extension fees apply to continue studying beyond the maximum course time. Please keep in mind that it is your responsibility to track your course time, as each student is on their own unique learning schedule. Please visit the individual course pages for course-specific information on access times and lesson delivery schedules, or contact us if you are unsure.
Your Personal Support Coach - practitioner courses
If you are a practitioner course student, included in your support resources is your very own Evolve Course Coach. Your coach will provide you unlimited encouragement, feedback, advice and support via email, whenever you need it. You also get lifetime membership to our online student support group and access to monthly Facebook live Q&A workshops with Kate Mantello.
Assessments - practitioner courses
Our practitioner courses contain a range of assessments that you will need to complete to successfully graduate. The assessments are designed to be fun and interactive and usually follow the pattern of completing an activity, meditation or healing session, then providing detailed written feedback and/or photos, which you will email to your Course Coach. The assessments are really important, because they help you to develop genuine healing skills that you can put into professional practice once qualified!
Course Crystals - all courses
To keep our courses as affordable as possible, we give students the option of supplying their own crystals or purchasing a crystal kit from our Online Crystal Shop. A list of recommended crystals can be found in the 'FAQ' section at the bottom of each course page and at the start of your course lessons after enrollment. Our crystals are priced very fairly, based on Australian prices. Please allow approximately 1 week for Australian delivery or 2-4 weeks for overseas delivery.
Computer & Technical Requirements - all courses
To successfully complete our courses, you will need access to a computer, laptop, smartphone or tablet with Adobe Acrobat (or similar PDF viewer), Media Player (for watching/hearing the lesson tutorials), Microsoft Word (or similar for typing your assessments), an email account and reliable internet access. Please note that assessments MUST be submitted via email, in PDF or Word formats. We do not accept hand-written assessments, faxes, or SMS messages.
Enrollment Terms & Conditions
BEGINNER & INTENSIVE COURSES
Once payment is made and enrollment is complete, students receive instant access to all the course material, which cannot be ‘returned' to us. This means, that the transaction has been completed and the sale is considered final. We do not offer refunds for our beginner or intensive courses, even if all the material has not been downloaded. Students have 3 months online access time for beginner courses or 4 months online access time for intensive courses. These timeframes also apply to our discounted, 'bundled' 3-in1 course enrollments as it is assumed the courses will be accessed simultaneously.
If a student would like to extend their online access to any of our intensive courses, then an ongoing access fee of AU$50 for an additional 3 month's access will apply per course. We do not offer access extensions for beginner courses and re-enrollment will be required to re-access the online course lessons.
Payments & Completion Times
Students enrolling in one of our practitioner courses have 2 payment options:
Payment in full using PayPal or credit card or
Monthly Payment Plan using a credit card.
Access Times & Study Extensions
Each practitioner course has a dedicated online access and completion time, as follows:
Certified Crystal Healer Course - 12 months
Transpersonal Crystal Healing® Course - 24 months
Certified Crystal Bodyworker Course - 6 months
Transpersonal Crystal Healing® Upgrade Course (for our CCH graduates) - 24 months
Extension fees apply to continue studying beyond the maximum course times above. Although your coach will check in with you regularly, please keep in mind that it is your responsibility to track your course time, as we may have a thousand students all studying on their own unique learning schedule! For this reason, we are not responsible for managing each student's study time.
Once the course completion time has passed, then online access to the course is automatically closed. Don't worry! If you need some more time to complete the online work then you can request an extension (as long as it is on or before your completion date). Extensions follow on directly from your original course completion date and are valid for up to a maximum of 12 months before re-enrollment is required. Study extensions are priced as follows:
1 Month Extension | AUD$100
3 Month Extension | AUD$200

(An enrollment may be 'paused' for up to 12 months in extreme circumstances and on a case-by-case basis. This must be arranged with our Student Support Manager and is only granted if written notice is given at least 2 months before your course expiry date). Please note that all lessons are downloadable as PDFs, meaning you can save the content forever, even after your online access closes!
Courses Paid in Full Upfront - Cancellations & Refunds
Once enrolled, you will receive instant access to your first lesson drop. Your next lesson drops will be in weeks 5 and 9 (depending on the course). You can request the complete course PDF upfront if you have paid in full for the course, however online video and lesson access cannot be expediated.
You may cancel your enrollment from your student dashboard (or by contacting us) at any time. If you cancel your enrollment, then you will no longer be able to access any of your online course work (even lessons you have previously completed). You will be refunded for any course lessons you have not yet received, less a $50 admin fee.
If you have received all of your course lessons, then no refund will be given, *even* if you have not completed any of the course work. Unfortunately, digital materials and downloads can never be ‘returned’ to us once they have been issued. Therefore, once you have received the lessons, it is up to you to get the most from your learning experience!
Courses Paid With Payment Plan - Cancellations & Refunds
When you enroll in a payment plan, the first month's payment is paid immediately. All future payments are automatically billed to your credit card on the same day of each month, based on your enrollment date. Sorry, but we do not offer any alternate payment methods, weekly payment plans or payment extensions. Once enrolled, you will receive instant access to the first lesson drop. Subsequent lesson drops will be available as long as your payments are up-to-date.
If your card is declined for a monthly installment, then your course access is temporarily paused. You will receive an email updating you of the situation, and our system will try to continue processing the payment for a further 21 days. If your payment clears in this time, then your online course access is reopened. If the payment is not recovered within 21 days, then your enrollment in the course will be cancelled, without refund.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer individual payment plans, extensions, discounts or any other exceptions to payment plan students (even in extreme and unfortunate circumstances). Any previous discounts or coupon codes (including scholarship discounts) will be cancelled and cannot be applied to re-enrollments once a course is cancelled. Our payment process is fully automated, which means we unfortunately cannot manually override any cancelled enrollments due to non-payment.
You may cancel your enrollment from your student dashboard (or by contacting us) at any time. If you cancel your enrollment, then you will no longer be able to access any of your online course work (even lessons you have previously completed).
No refunds will be given for payments already received and no further charges will be billed to your card.
Courses Paid With Payment Plan - Assessment Submission & Issuing Certificates
Any student studying one of our certificate courses on a payment plan can only submit their course assessments and receive their practitioner's certificate once their plan has been paid out in full. We do not grade assessments or issue certificates for payment plans that have not been completely paid.
A NOTE ABOUT OUR REFUND POLICY & ADMIN FEE:
There is a LOT of ongoing time, energy and financial expense that goes into delivering our courses to ensure they are the BEST and provide you with personalized support and world-class resources (whether you use them or not!). For example:
We pay a monthly fee to our 3rd party course platform provider for every student enrolled in our online courses (even if they aren't accessing the material).
Unlike most online courses, we employ a team of dedicated course coaches to be available 24/7, who still need to be paid whether you use their services or not during your course enrollment
Our platform hosting, tech support, coaching team, administration, software (etc), costs us thousands of dollars every month just to be operational and deliver our courses - whether you actively study the material or not
Please keep in mind we are not a large corporation. We are small organization largely comprised of hardworking mums who are genuinely passionate about sharing healing skills with others. We value absolute honestly and transparency in our communication and enrollment policies, so each student can make an informed decision before committing. That's why we offer a completely
free sample course and a 7 day cooling off period for our larger courses, so you can be 100% sure before you enrol!
7 DAY COOLING OFF GUARANTEE
We want to make sure that you LOVE your learning experience and really resonate with our courses. So, our practitioner students are given a 1 week ‘cooling off’ period, in which to try the course and access the first lessons. If you find that the course wasn’t quite what you expected, then you can cancel your enrollment by contacting us within 7 days of purchasing the course.
You will be refunded your course fees, less a $50 admin fee.
Once this 7 day period passes, then our standard refund and cancellation policy will apply.
'PAUSING' & RE-ENROLLING IN PRACTITIONER COURSES
We understand that sometimes life can be unexpected and although you might sign up for a course, there may be an unforeseen reason why you are unable to complete it. Please refer to the below information for our policies when it comes to 'pausing' and re-enrolling in a course if something unexpected happens while you are studying.
Pausing your enrollment
Practitioner students may pause their course time once due to extreme circumstances such as severe illness, death in the family, divorce, loss of job, etc. This will be on a case-by case basis and is granted at the discretion of our Student Support Manager, who may request support material such as medical certificates. The maximum amount of time a course can be paused for is 12 months (without exception). After this time, re-enrollment in the course will be required (see below). We do not offer pauses for change of mind, short-term illness or non-urgent 'normal' life events. We do not offer 'pauses' for our beginner or intensive courses.
Re-enrolling in a course
If you enroll in a practitioner course and you are unable to complete the course due to extreme hardship, then you may 'pause' your enrollment for up to 12 months (see above). Once 12 months has passed, then re-enrollment in the course will be necessary to complete it. You will receive 50% of any previously paid course fees as credit towards your new course enrollment (excluding any extension fees paid).
If more than 24 months has passed since your last course activity then no credit is given and the full fee is payable to complete the course.
EXAMPLE 1: Sarah enrolled in the Certified Crystal healer course payment plan and paid AU$690 upfront. Six months into the course, Sarah had to stop due to an extreme life circumstance. A year and a half later Sarah re-enrolled in the course and received AU$345 in credit towards her re-enrollment. This is because less than 24 months had passed since she stopped studying.
EXAMPLE 2: Joan enrolled in the Transpersonal Crystal Healing® course payment plan and paid 2 months of the plan before an unexpected event meant she had to stop (2 x AU$297 = $594 total). Joan re-enrolled in the course two and a half years later but because more than 24 months had passed since she last accessed the course, no credit was given for her re-enrollment.
By enrolling in any of our online healing practitioner courses, you, the student agree that:
You understand that information and experiences you may receive during the course are not a substitute for licensed medical or psychological treatment. Under no circumstances should prescribed medical treatment (including medication) be halted without your medical professional's consent and you should never advise a client or volunteer client to stop any medication.
You have read, understood and agree to the Evolve Healing Institute 'Code of Ethics' and you will uphold this code in your own practice.
You will hold your volunteer client's safety paramount during your training. Practitioner students are strongly encouraged to obtain IICT 'Student Insurance' for the duration of your training.
You take full responsibility for your own actions and choices with regards to the information and experiences you receive during your training. Under no circumstances will we accept liability for accidental injury or illness incurred to any person during their training, or as a result of the personal choice or actions of a student after their training.
You acknowledge that quality and reliability of technical equipment (including internet connections) is your responsibility, and we cannot make any special allowances, nor issue any refunds for students who are experiencing difficulties accessing the online learning tools due to technical error beyond our control.
You understand that certain criteria apply regarding the completion of course work within the allocated course time. Evolve Healing Institute reserves the right to with-hold certificates from those who do not complete the work to a reasonable standard within the allotted course time. Assistance is happily provided via email for those who need it.
You understand and agree that Evolve Healing Institute retains all exclusive rights to course content, including all handouts, manuals, diagrams, healing techniques, video tutorials, meditations and instructional materials. You agree not to copy or distribute any such materials or teach any techniques without the written permission of Kate Mantello from Evolve Healing Institute. Furthermore, you understand that Transpersonal Crystal Healing® is a registered trademark of Kate Mantello and as such, written permission must be requested for its use.
You understand and agree that any student who is found to be in violation of the terms outlined above, including but not limited to; Copyright, Code of Ethics and Enrollment Terms, will have their place terminated immediately, without refund or graduation.
You agree that if any extreme and/or uncontrollable event (such as a global catastrophe, or the sudden death of our key operational staff) should result in a disruption to the completion of your course, or at worst, the closure of Evolve Healing Institute, Evolve Healing Institute, nor its staff, bear any liability for reimbursing course fees you have paid, or for providing financial compensation of any kind.
Evolve Code of Ethics
We take our business integrity and the best interests of our clients and students very seriously. All students of Evolve Healing Institute are required to agree that they will adhere to and implement the following code of ethics while in training and once qualified, as a means to maintain professionalism, safety and integrity in their practice.
1) Always conduct yourself and your clients with integrity and respect.
2) Protect client confidentiality and never divulge any identifying information about your clients, or client's lives with anybody.
3) Respect personal boundaries and always act appropriately. Never initiate any unwanted or inappropriate physical contact with a client.
4) Client safety is paramount. Always ensure your venue and equipment is safe, in excellent working order and that you are always mindful of your client's physical, emotional and psychological safety.
5) Only work within your realm of education, qualification and experience, respecting your abilities and limitations.
6) Maintain honesty, transparency, fairness and integrity in all business matters including marketing, pricing and self promotion.
7) Always work within the limitations of the law and your professional bodies.
8) Never take emotional, physical, spiritual, financial, mental (or other) advantage of a client.
9) Always encourage clients to accept responsibility for their own healing, helping to empower them.
10) Always bring your 'best self' to the healing room- sober, present and accepting.
11) Always make sure clients are aware that Holistic Therapies are a complementary treatment, not meant to replace proper medical or psychological care. Never suggest your client alter or cease any prescribed medications or treatments unless they have been instructed to do so by a licensed medical professional.
Student Grievances & Concerns
At Evolve Healing Institute, it is paramount that our students are safe, respected and inspired by their learning experience. We are 100% committed to resolving any issue that may arise with a student quickly, calmly, fairly and respectfully.
We understand that sometimes the healing process can raise trauma and be an emotional experience. We also understand that despite our efforts to be as clear as possible, occasionally important information about our terms may be missed or misunderstood during the enrollment process.
We are very willing to work positively with any student who has concerns about their learning. However, we will not engage in any communication with a student who is abusive, insulting, aggressive, threatening or unreasonable. Any student who endangers the physical, emotional, spiritual or mental well-being of others (including Evolve students or Evolve team members) will be respectfully asked to communicate calmly, or leave our institute.
Every single student is encouraged to communicate openly with our student support manager with any concerns, questions, grievances or feedback they may have. If the situation is unable to be resolved with our student support manager, then it will
be escalated to our CEO for resolution.
All communication is held in strictest confidence and high regard.
